Ready to delete your account?
Send an email to privacy@markandrun.com with the subject line "Delete my account" from the address registered to your account. We will process your request within 10 business days.
Alternatively, log into the app and go to Settings → Delete Account.
What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, the following personal data is permanently removed from our systems:
- Your name and email address.
- Your login credentials, password hash, and session tokens.
- Your account preferences and notification settings.
- Client contact details (phone numbers, email addresses) you stored in the app.
- Any AI-generated scope suggestions, transcripts, contracts, progress reports, and change order drafts associated with your projects.
- Photos uploaded to daily logs, field notes, and change orders.
- Appointment records and booking history.
What happens to your project data
All project records — scopes, contracts, draw schedules, budgets, punch lists, lien waivers, change orders, daily logs, field notes, inspections, and closeout documents — are deleted when your account is deleted. There is no 90-day grace period; deletion is immediate and permanent upon processing your request.
Export your data before requesting deletion. Once the deletion is processed, recovery is not possible.
If other users (staff or crew members) have been given access to your projects, those projects will become inaccessible to them when your account is deleted.
Export your data first
We strongly recommend exporting your data before requesting deletion. You can request a full data export by emailing privacy@markandrun.com — include "Data export request" in your subject line. We will provide a secure download link within 5 business days.
Audit log records
Anonymised audit log records (e.g., "a user updated a project status") may be retained for up to 24 months for security and fraud-prevention purposes. These records will not contain your name, email address, or any personal identifier after account deletion — only anonymised internal IDs.
Billing records
Transaction records required for accounting and tax compliance are retained for the period required by applicable law (typically 7 years), but are stripped of personal identifiers beyond those legally required.
Pending subscription
Deleting your account cancels any active subscription immediately. We do not issue pro-rated refunds for the remainder of a billing period unless required by applicable law. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, contact support@markandrun.com before requesting deletion.
Reactivation
Account deletion is immediate and permanent. We are unable to restore your account or recover project data after deletion is processed.
